Pete Wanger

Baritone  --  Sound Judgment

Pete has wanted to sing in the Barbershop style ever since he first heard the world-famous SPEBSQSA  International Champions, The Buffalo Bills, sing "Lida Rose" in the Broadway musical "The Music Man". That was way back in 1960 when Pete was singing in the Glee Club at San Francisco's Lick-Wilmerding High School.  Unfortunately, real life intervened until 1997 when he joined the Golden Chrodsmen Chorus. Pete's lifelong dream was finally fulfilled when he performed in Hillbarn Theatre's 2007 production of "The Music Man".

Too shy to be a Lead, Pete sang Baritone with Boys R Us before joining Sound Judgment in 2000.

To raise money for his annual trek back to St. Joseph, Missouri, for the Barbershop Society's Harmony College  Pete toils as a management consultant for Bottom Line Systems. He holds a BA from Stanford, an MBA from Northwestern,  and is a California CPA.

In his spare time Pete enjoys running rivers in his whitewater open canoe (three trips down the Colorado River through the Grand Canyon, so far), boring holes in the sky in his V-tailed Beechcraft Bonanza, and duck hunting.

Now an eligible bachelor living in Burlingame, California, Pete is active in the community with the San Mateo Rotary Club.
