Sound Judgment at UCSF Children's HospitalQuartet Members (left to right): Par Goulding, Jim Daly, Owen Doyle, Pete Wanger (Picture by permission.) On December 19, 2001, Sound Judgment visited the Children's Hospital at University of California San Francisco at the request of one of the staff. We toured the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit singing Christmas Carols, Disney songs, and some old Barbershop favorites for the patients, staff, and visitors. It was an experience that we will remember for years. The invitation was a result of a singout last year at Westlake Mall in Daly City, California where Sound Judgment was hired to stroll around the mall singing Christmas carols. The hospital employee had seen us there and liked what she heard, so she asked us to come to the hospital to bring some cheer to the patients, staff, and visitors. (More UCSF pictures) Later that same evening Sound Judgment entertained by Christmas Caroling at the Intensive Care Unit of California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco. We sang a few Christmas Carols and a couple of old Barbershop favorites for the patients, staff, and visitors. These were the last performances of a very busy 2001 holiday schedule for Sound Judgment. |
